Offering items with a booking
Bookable items are options the player can add to their booking: racket hire, a tube of balls, lighting… Their price is added to the price of the booking.
Before you start: the Authorise purchase of items during reservation option must be turned on in Parameters → Manage payments. The "Manage reservable items" page then appears in the reservation menu. Each bookable item is linked to an invoicing item, to be created beforehand (see Create an item).
1. Add a bookable item
In the left-hand menu, open Reservations → Manage reservable items, and click + Add a reservable item :
- Sport: the sport and season on which the item is offered;
- Name: the name shown to the player (e.g. "Location de raquette");
- Price: the amount charged for each booking that includes the item;
- Item: the linked accounting item (its price is shown in brackets), used for the accounts;
- Always valid: turn off the switch to offer the item only on certain courts, certain days and at certain times.
Click Add a reservable item. The item appears in the list, with its name, sport, price and accounting item. The pencil lets you edit it, and the bin removes it from the booking options.
2. During a booking
- The player sees the items offered for the chosen slot in the booking panel and can add them before paying.
- In the administration, the Payment part of the booking form contains a Reservable item line: choose the item and the quantity, then click +. The amount is added to the price of the booking.
The items sold appear in the cash journal with the other income.
