With RFID validation, members confirm their attendance by holding their card to a reader (club terminal or court door), or with the Plugin.ch app using geolocation. This lets you spot no-show bookings, delete them automatically and temporarily block people who book without turning up.

In the left side menu, open the module Parameters and click Manage RFID validation. Turn on the switch Use RFID: the other settings appear below.

Activating RFID and validation rules.

• Validation period (hh:mm): how long the card swipe validates the booking, for example 00:15.
• Duration of validation window display (in seconds): when the member swipes their card at the terminal, a window shows which booking is validated. Enter 0 if you do not validate bookings by card.
• All members must validate reservations: No, one player is enough to validate the booking; Yes, each player must swipe their card.
• Connection to the terminal by card only: at the club terminal, members log in only by swiping their card.
• Automatically delete non-validated reservations after 15 minutes: a booking that is not fully validated 15 minutes after it starts is deleted, and the court is freed for other players.

Blocking people who do not turn up, and validation by geolocation.

In the section Bookings not checked in :

• Number of non-validated reservations before account is blocked: beyond this number of non-validated bookings, the person can no longer book for a while.
• Number of days account is blocked: how long the block lasts.

In the section Validate with geolocation on app, enter your club's latitude and longitude (in degrees), then the radius in metres. A member within this radius can validate their booking from the app, without a card. Leave the radius empty or at 0 to turn this off.

Click Save at the bottom of the page. A message confirms the save.
