The cash journal and the history of a booking
The cash journal shows, booking by booking, what was collected, paid from the wallet or refunded over a period. It is the page to check when cashing up in the evening or reviewing a month's payments.
The page appears in the menu when Use the cash breakdown sheet is turned on in Parameters → Manage parameters.
1. Choose the period
In the left-hand menu, open Reservations → Cash register record. Enter the start and end dates in Period, then click Show. By default, the period is the day chosen in the date picker at the top of the screen.
2. The totals of the period
- Collected: the money actually received, i.e. the paid bookings and the wallet top-ups, broken down by payment method (cash, card, TWINT…).
- Wallet and credits: the bookings settled with money already collected beforehand (wallet, guest credits, pay-as-you-go hours, promotional codes). It is not new income.
- On invoice: the bookings put on an invoice, which will be collected when the invoice is paid.
- To collect: the amount still due on the bookings of the period.
- Refunded: the refunds recorded during the period.
3. The details
Below the totals, tabs split up the details:
- Reservations: every booking of the period with its price, payments and status. The status chips (Paid, To pay, No price…) filter the list.
- Wallet: the top-ups, payments and refunds that went through the members' wallets.
- Deletions: the bookings deleted during the period, with the date and who deleted them.
- Refunds: the amounts refunded to players.
- Changes: the changes made to bookings (time, court, players, payments, notes).
The Excel, CSV, PDF and Print buttons above the table export the list shown.
Below the table, Period result by payment method, sport and price groups the amounts collected: this is the summary to carry over into the accounts.
The button Print button produces a paper version of the journal with the summary of the period. Stripe Financial Report opens the report of Stripe online payments, and Old journal shows the former layout, kept during the transition.
Clicking a payment lets you mark it as refunded. Plugin only records the refund: no other automatic action is taken, so return the money yourself.
4. The history of a booking
The clock icon at the end of each row opens the Booking history: who created or changed it and when, the payments received and refunded, the notes added. At the top, Paid, Refunded and Balance give the current state of the payments.
The same history can be opened from a booking panel, with the button View history.
It is the ideal tool to answer a member who disputes a payment or a deletion. Rows marked "ancien format" (old format) come from the old journals and are shown as they are.
Before 30.09.2026, deletions and the method of some top-ups come from the old journal: for those dates, also check the Old journal.
